Click here to read the whole thing for yourself. Fair warning: the books measure roughly a foot high when stacked on my desk, so I'm guessing the PDFs are pretty big.
For those who want some of the early media coverage:
- * Update: Legislative leaders didn't give Perdue's budget the dreaded "dead on arrival" stamp, which means she did better her first time out than former Gov. Mike Easley did on his last.
- * The AP's Gary Robertson takes you through the basics.
- * One of my stories for tomorrow looks at some of the parochial effects of the budget, including the possibility a local prison could close.
- * My colleague Sonja Elmquist writes about one of the far flung effects of the current budget crisis.
- * The N+O's budget-paloza.
- * News 14 rocks some video.
