Interesting enough for a Monday
From the Monday paper:
- * This story looks at a proposed law to more closely regulate mopeds. The thing I learned from this story is that scooters are legally mopeds in North Carolina because they fit this definition: "A vehicle that has two or three wheels, no external shifting device, and a motor that does not exceed 50 cubic centimeters piston displacement and cannot propel the vehicle at a speed greater than 30 miles per hour on a level surface." (S 135.)
- * This story looks at a tax break requested by Greensboro members of the General Assembly for the purchase and installation of aircraft simulators. (H 869 and S 1057.)
