Graduation gift no-no's

Following are the results from an interesting (and small-->442) survey of college students in April by Dormbuys.com about the best and worst high school graduation gifts. Where do you Guilford County parents rank in all this?

Worst
1. Picture frames, albums
2. Stuffed animals
3. Books (non-textbook)
4. Candles
5. Ugly clothes, socks
6. Cheap jewelry
7. Cards with no money
8. Key chains
9. Motivation/inspirational books
10. Graduation year items

Better Gifts
1. College textbooks (or more practically, college gift certificates)
2. Dorm supplies
3. Collegiate clothing
4. Care packages (food, bedding sets, cleaning supplies, etc.)

Obviously these results are skewed toward college-bound graduates.

Anyone we doesn't like this info probably bought a graduate something on the bad list. I am a college student and received a number of the quick money waster gifts and I can only tell parents/family please ignore the stuffed animal that says graduate.
