I notice there is no Welborn. Perhaps they have noticed that no new students will be there. They may as well cancel the Andrews gig too!

No Parkview too. They want to keep those guys in the dark until the first day of school.

There are going to be kids arriving at SW middle saying "where the heck are we bro?"

According to the rumor mill revonda Johnson will be leaving Central. Grier is getting her outta there.
She is just too much trouble for him.

-Jumps in to stop fights and gets knocked out = bad publicity for Grier.
-Plans to go to traditional curriculum to improve education without telling Grier = Thats just not on. Page and Western need it more.

She doesnt want to leave but Grier wants her out.

So it goes on and on and on and on....

If my memory serves correctly, Weast is the one that wanted block and Grier said when he came the schedule didn't matter to him. Now the problem is money (what's new) it willcost 187,000 for books to go to traditional. I personally think that is a small amount if the kids will have 30 more hours of instructional time per class. They might have a better chance to pass the basics.

On another HP Central point. I heard that many students went to Carowinds the week before EOC's as a 'reward' for their hard work... kinda putting the horse before the cart isn't it? Wouldn't that money and time have been better spent on review and celebrate after the test (hopefully with passing scores)

Is someone going to send Susie a map to Southwest?
She might not know where the school is.

Debora,

The horse should always come before the cart.

(I just couldn't resist, but I agree with you sentiment)

Ms. Johnson has to leave Central to be in compliance with Guilford Couny's "3 knockdown rule."----

You get knocked down a 3rd time and you are eligible to file for worker's compensation.

David,
you caught me in that one! Cart before the horse would have been the correct thing...I guess I am so bewildered by the issue I wasn't thinking clearly!!

Will Susan Mendenhall have the courage to show up at Southwest? After all it is the school she has "NOT" represented in her glorious 16 years.

Buckmtn said:

All she'll show up, this takes no courage at all when politically you have nothing to lose.

Maybe we can get her to autograph the schoolbus.

Willshewontshe? said:

She wont have the courage to look "her" people in the eye.

Will "her" people have the stomach to go and look her in the eye?

They have done it before. They also don't want to waste their time.
