Music is their bond
Check out this story by Tina Firesheets. It's about a young man from Andrews High School who has music in his heart and some serious skills sharing what he knows with younger students.
And don't miss the multimedia component - a series of photos while music and a narrative play in the background.

So if Music and Art is so important to students, why is the school board discussing cutting music and art program times in elementary schools at Thursday's board meeting? Why will these teachers be spread so thin?
We heard less than a year or so ago how important the arts were as we watched student perform before a school board meeting. I thought one of the school's goals was to increaase interest in the arts after promoting how beneficial they were.
If we are cutting at the elementary level, why is there going to be a school of the arts at Penn-G?
