Students overcome obstacles to graduate

If you haven't seen it yet, here's a piece we did this Sunday on graduation.

It's not your typical graduation story. This year we asked each school to send us information about a student they would consider an "unsung hero" for overcoming difficult circumstances to make it to graduation.

What do you think of their stories?

These stories were very inspirational, but how did the girl that was left in an apartment (underage) not have a counselor intervene with child services. She was abandoned by her mother! Was she here with a visa? how did the immigration people not know she and her brother were left without an adult!
