If I get one more automated call about this subject I'm going to rip my phone out of the wall. I have gotten at least 5 calls. I have sent in my transportation request for one of my children attending a non-traditional school--and have even gotten a reply card back saying that it was received.
My other child, according to the website, does not need to fill out a form. He falls into one of the categories used as an example of students not needing to fill out a request.
My third child has been saved from the trauma of Guilford county schools and is in private.
So, why I keep getting phone calls saying that I need to fill out a transportation request form is a mystery.
I'm sure though that when the chaos begins in August of late buses, no-show buses, and lost kids, that the parents will again be to blame.
