The district could always pay for those improvements through capital outlay funds, not necessarily through a bond.

I have heard that the GCS BOE has scheduled a meeting with all Guilford County SRO's on Friday 4-20. I hope that since this is a BOE meeting, that it falls on the public information and you can have a representative there to report the outcome.

concerned,
There is a meeting Friday and it is open to the public. You should drop by and check it out. We'll be there. Not sure about a story yet. We'll see what happens.
I don't think that it will be televised. Here's what's on the district Web site about the meeting:
----
The school resource officers (SROs) have been invited to engage in dialogue with the Board of Education regarding school discipline and the juvenile justice system. The meeting will be held on Friday, April 20, in the Board Room of the Administrative Offices, 712 N. Eugene St., Greensboro, N.C. from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
-----
FYI, the board added a meeting immediately following this one to discuss the magnet grant some more.
