« San Diego courts Grier | Main | Post Grimsley brawl, community meets Saturday »

Grier's prospects still unclear

San Diego school board officials have been busy meeting in closed session about their future superintendant.

But so far they've been tight-lipped about whether Guilford County School Superintendant Terry Grier may get the job.

Last week, Grier announced he was a candidate for the position. San Diego school board members have met to discuss their candidate search in closed sessions twice since then, and are scheduled to meet again Thursday morning west coast time.

San Diego board members have given no clues about candidates they are considering or when they will reach their decision.

Grier said earlier this week that he had not yet heard from the San Diego school board.
A schools spokeswoman said Tuesday the district has no information about the potential job.

Terry better hope that San Diego doesn't get the Fox News Channel. The adult school rumble in High Point just aired on national news. That can't be good for Terry's chances, if it is seen there.

So, Grier did not get the job. When is this school board going to wake up to the boy that cried wolf?

In the real world, I mean, the business world. When we have a valued employee who keeps threatening to leave and he doesnt we have to give him a clear message in the end.

1)If you really want to leave then poop or get off the pot!

I feel that Grier had no intentions to leave. He is just manipulating the situation. If this school board even mentions a raise or contract extention then I am a definite no vote for the coming bond!

San Diego has named an interim chief while the search continues, so we don't know if Grier is out of the running or not...see:

Oh go ahead and give the guy another raise and stop all this nonsense.

Did anyone hear about the Oak Hill Elementary Christmas play parent fistcuff brawl? Honoring the Baby Jesus and beating the crap out of each other in the process. Sad.

Is it any wonder why their kids behave so badly.
