I have 3 children in 2 different schools. NONE did any work today. Most of the day was spent watching videos - not even EOC reviews!

Did any learning go on today anywhere?

My daughter's High School has a policy that students who drive can have a parent call the school and give permission for the student to leave campus. Today, the school required that a parent show up physically to check the driving student out.

I was working as a sub at another school and my husband was out of town, so therefore my daughter had to stay at school the whole day.

The school system had planned to release high school students at 1pm after their exams; exams were NOT given and the students had to stay until 4pm. Meanwhile at the elementary schools the ACES program was cancelled and parents had to scramble to pick those kids up early.
