Interview with The Joker
Empire Magazine has an exclusive interview with Heath Ledger about playing The Joker.
According to the magazine the role involved Ledger "marinading himself in nothing but Joker before shooting."

the movie was INCREDIBLE! I saw it twice (midnight showing and tonight) and it just gets better, heath ledger not only should, but will win an oscar for this, i see it as a tremoundus loss that the batman series will not have him again...RIP.

The movie was good but Heath made it even better. I hate to see him leave hollywood the way he did but at least he finished as the best villain ever. He did a GREAT job and I want to congratulate him and he certanly deserves an oscar. RIP

I am so sad heath ledger had to leave, he did the most amazing performance as joker that no one will be able to top. I am completley obsessed with the joker, I wish heath was still here to perform as him again.

The new Batman honestly wasn't all that amazing, the only good parts were with the joker, if they took out everything else and made a movie about the joker and not Batman, then it might have been worth seeing again, otherwise, it was shit, but heath did a brilliant job as joker, beyond any performance in any movie.

The dark knight was much beter than the original batman. ledger portrayed a much darker crazier
joker than jack nicolson did.. the only reason jack's
was any good was because it was directed by Tim Burton.

Leger is amazing as the joker ... i loved the film because of him. i am absolutly gutted that he died. R I P . He deserves an oscar so many times over. Leger IS the joker.
