What can be done to stop this rising tide of evil?

Jordan Kerner, dean at NCSA's film school is producing this. When I spoke to him about it last year, he said he personally watched every single episode of the Smurfs and wrote a list of 236 questions about the nature of the creatures and characters that was never answered in the show. He's planning a trilogy, and says that by film three, all 236 questions shall be answered. Pretty ambitious if you ask me.

One question I have is, yeah, we know the Smurfs are communists, but does their name stand for Solviet Men Under Red Father like those Christian pamphlets from the 80's used to claim?

A better question: How high do you have to be, exactly, to sit through every episode of the Smurfs?

And come up with over 200 questions about them?
