Wired has a great gallery up today with photos of geek tattoos they saw at this year's Comic-Con in San Diego. They're comic-book heavy, but there are also some Tim Burton- and Calvin & Hobbes-influenced ones.

That Calvin & Hobbes tattoo is the best tattoo I've ever seen. That bird is incredible, especially how 3D its shadow looks.
The NMBC tattoo made me want to cry, though. Poor Sally, why is your face melting? (Jack looks good though, and the valentine is adorable.)
