Stoner Movie Hall of Fame
After enjoying the new Seth Rogan weed action/comedy Pineapple Express (and, perhaps, a doobie of his own), Rolling Stone critic Peter Travers compiled a list of ten movies that belong in the Stoner Movie Hall of Fame.
Though the last one's a bit of a cop out, it's hard to argue with these selections.
Except to say...no Dude, Where's My Car?
On a related note: Cheech and Chong are apparently touring again.

Where's my Car? isn't a stoner movie. It's a dumbass movie. Easy to confuse; there's a lot of cross-genre.
Overall, this list just reminds me why stoners annoy me so much.

I actually did see Dude, Where's My Car...and I wasn't stoned at the time.
But I can't remember if the two doofuses (doofusi?) in the movie were actually stoned or just seemed that way.
I think they were stoned.
The moive certainly made me feel like I was.

No, they were just dumbasses. Might have been stoned in a previous draft of the script (the guys who made it also did both Harold and Kumar films), but as it was on the screen, those guys were just stupid.
Saw Pineapple Express last week, and it was great. Hot Rod and Foot Fist Way didn't make NCSA grad Danny R. McBride into a full-fledged star, but if he doesn't start getting some recognition after Pineapple Express, me and Hollywood are done.
