Edwards in South Carolina
If John Edwards doesn't win in South Carolina, should he drop out? Or perhaps the better question is: what percentage of the vote is considered a victory for him?

No, John should continue to the convention. If he could get 2nd in SC that would be enough to declare a "victory" of some sorts. The media does need to make this a 3-way race and start focusing on what Edwards' stances are (poverty being #1). Only then will people realize he is the right choice as the nominee. I also think more North Carolinians should be supporting their own. He is a credit to our state.

No, John should stay in the race through the convention. For me as well as many of my friends and acquaintances, Edwards is the one we want to see in the White House. He addresses the concerns and visions of the middle class. Despite the media coverage, many voters support John. I'm in Colorado, but if I could be in SC to volunteer for his campaign, I would be there.

John Edwards should go home and be with his lovely wife. John Edwards talks about the common man and the struggle to survive, but look at who he assoicates with. There is no indication that he really likes and enjoys the common person as Bill Clinton did. We have no obligation to spruce up his resume.

Absolutely John should stay all the way to the White House.
When people hear John, they want him.
The media needs to get out of the race or give Edwards message equal time. That's all he needs, equal time. Then let's see who wins.

No, he should stay in the race. John is our only hope for the middle class and poor working families. John will be the voice for that single mother who has to hold two low wage jobs to support her children. If we are serious about ending the trade agreements that outsource american jobs then we must have faith that John can win the nomination.

Yes, He should take his $400 haircut and return to chasing ambulances.

If he does not win South Carolina, that really diminishes his chances for the remainder of the primaries. I would like for him to stay in the race even if he does not win, but I do feel as though he will drop out should he lose in South Carolina.

No, he should stay in the race. The other two candiates are about themselves. Its about all the fame they are receiving and not about what we really need. They are slandering each other to no end and that is not right. They are not focusing on the people only on what they really want and what they want to do to make them look good.

No I don't think John should drop out of the race. He is this country's real hope for the future in many ways. He seems very caring and compassionate about all people no matter who you are or where you come from and the serious situations that our country is facing now and in the future. This is the man that we need leading our country for the next four years and the media needs to let him have his say on that too. Go John!

It dosen't much matter. He's not going to get the democrat nomination regardless.

Heck NO! I still need to get my chance to vote for him here in washington state. If he beats hillary, it's a win because big media won't be able to stop themselves from talking it up (they love to trash hillary). So, that might finally get him some coverage. Go South Carolina - we're counting on you!

I pray that Hilllary wins both the democrat nomination and the white house. Edwards can be vice president.
It really dosen't matter how South Carolina votes...yea, it will be a huge media event quickly forgotten as we get to the big boys on February 5.
