Recycling

"Recycling all that stuff once every other week? Don't they realize how many cans, bottles and boxes we generate?"

"Yes, but you can't possibly fill one of those huge cans in just seven days. And think of the savings the city will have in gas and labor."

What do you think?

I think it is foolish. We have a household of six and our recycle container is overflowing every week. I am a strong advocate for recycling and teach my children to recycle on a daily basis.

I think the city should give the extra container at no charge. I believe that the majority of residents, when their containers are too full in the two week period, will just put the extra into the regular trash container and defeat the whole purpose of recycling.
