Perhaps - it certainly can't hurt. The more people and segments of our community that care about children, the better. I'm excited to see the faith community getting involved. One solution is not going to fit all; perhaps with various solutions we'll reach more youth.

It's a nice beginning. Churches are an integral part of our community and address a great number of needs through outreach mission efforts. If there were a single solution to the crime and gang problems it would be great, but that's not the case; instead, we need to focus as many efforts on the problem from as many sources as possible.
