Should county taxpayers give nearly a quarter of a million dollars to an automotive parts company to build a distribution center here? Help the commissioners decide.

If the company is sound and stable, I don't see a problem with incentives like this. It's going to create jobs and help our economy locally.

Seems to me that with the mass exodus of textile jobs in this area - we'd be chomping at the bit to entice more business to the Triad.

Not with my taxes. What benefit do I receive in exchange for the use of my tax dollars? And, we can be assured as things are going in this county that property taxes are going to skyrocket. It's even worse if you live in Greensboro.
