I've been attending the Women's ACC tournament with my family for the past 4 years now. We always have a great time, but it seems that every year, the folks in charge of running the thing finds ways to make it less enjoyable and a little more of a rip-off.
For instance, the "Fanfest" at the Pavilion used to have a pretty neat variety of things to see and do, including having a section with posters telling about the history of the tournament and the schools. Last year, it was just wall-to-wall mini-hoop shooting. There were few souvenirs to buy last year: they ran out of most supplies after the first day. I hope things turn around this year. It's getting to the point where I want to just go in, sit and watch basketball and make sure I spend nothing on anything else in the entire city during the time of the tournament.

Absolutely! Our family has attended the ACC Women's Basketball Tourney for eight years. It is hard to beat watching women play basketball. This tournament is much more family-oriented, fan-friendly, and accessible than the men's event. Congratulations ladies - thanks for the memories!

No way! Basketball at the coliseum is great, but women's basketball just sucks! It's just not fun to watch and they are lucky to get as many people as they do!

Well, I attended every session this year. There were a few glitches in the arrangements, such as the annual "running out of souvenirs on the FIRST DAY" business, but by and large, it was a great improvement on the last three years. Definitely a good step in the right direction for the tournament committee.
And of course, nearly all of the games were terrific. The 4 days' worth of tickets for myself and the family was absolutely money well spent. We're all looking forward to next year's tourney. Go Blue Devils!
