They say (no, I don't know who "they" are) it's easier to find a job when you already have one.
I have a job, and it's okay. I began using triadcareers.com when I moved here about 3 years ago and never deactivated my account, so I still get email notices of job openings that match my criteria; I've applied for many, and VERY rarely hear anything back - no calls for interviews, no "thanks, but no thanks".
I find that very frustrating at times - I'm well qualified, but can't even get an interview. I've had my resume professionally written and I follow professional standards when writing a cover letter.
All I can think is that there's always someone else out there more qualified, or just too many apply for the company to look at everyone.
