Its good to see that Democrats have been cleaning up their own house -- starting with Jim Black. The Democrat who has been investigating and pushing the party to clean up its act behind the scenes deserves to be commended. Lets hope he continues his crusade. It does seem like Mr. Wright should have first been given his day in court, however, so that the trial could proceed in an unbiased way. What was the rush? The Democrats looked the other way for years -- now suddenly they have to send a message, and get it off the front page in an election year.

Laura:
It's an election year, the Dems would throw their young overboard to get re-elected. As you will see Earl Jones stood up for Wright in the Special session... Why... He had no opposition. Had he had a creditable opponent he too would have voted to expell.

Where's Mitch Johnson and Joe Williams when you need them? They should take their package program statewide.

This is a classic case of assuming guilt before a person has had a chance to prove whether or not they are in fact guilty Maybe all the legislators should be fired or impeached A lot of the laws need to be changed to apply with the times that we are living in now They need to be where they can be applied to each person on an equal basis Not certain ways for certain people or groups of people They need to be fair and unbiased The color of your skin or where you cam from should have nothing to do with it If you break the laws of God and of man then you should be made to take the consequences of your own actions If it means building more jails to keep the law breakers off our streets then build them Make our judicial system work fairly for everyone
Thank you
