Costco and Walmart are starting to ration rice, because commodity trading has driven the price up while supplies are down.
When will Bush force the rice growers to turn over excess profits?
Are we conserving rice, and not buying on Tuesdays?
Are we punishing Costco and Walmart for their excess profits from rice?
The comparison is striking.

Definitely we have cut back on eating out or buying anything we really dont need now.
Crude oil prices have affected a lot of things beside gas to go way up.
Motor oil, tires, fertilizer, carpet, food, and basically anything that has to do with petroleum is going up.
Sadly a lot of businesses will suffer to the point of shuttung down.

All people have to do to bring the price of gas down is to buy gas anywhere but Exxon. When Exxon's sales go flat and all the other gas companies are making record sales, Exxon will make sure the price of gas comes down.

It's almost becoming a worthwhile thought to move to an urban location just to be able to take advantage of public transportation.

John Doe missed something important. Oil companies buy and sell oil to each other also. Exxon's prices won't go down. If everyone dropped exxon and went to BP or citgo, their gas reserves would get low and they'd buy exxon's gas, put their name on it and you'll still pay them.

I feel everybody should stop complaining about the gas, food, and whatever goes up! You can't do anything about it and Bush can't do anything about it because 1. The democrats are incontrol of the senate and the house and they have the power to dismiss the vetoes that Bush does! So, go on with life, put your trust into the Lord and enjoy!
