Negative ad

Have you seen the new political ad? Is it too negative? Is it a sign of weakness that Sen. McCain cannot get the ad pulled as he has requested?

This ad by the Republican Party & Brent Woodcox insults the intelligence of all people whether Republicans or Democrats. Jerimiah Wright is not running for President of the USA - the home of the brave and the land of the free. I have opinions of sermons of my Paster; but I also have an open mind & can think for myself. Different ideas & opinions are a part of the learning & growth process. Is the Republican Party suggesting that the US become a Castro's Cuba; China; or North Korea where opinions and ideas are suppressed & may result in death? I am more offended by the "misspoke" that the Rebublican nominee was under ghost sniper fire when my son; nephew; & daughter have been deployed to Bosnia; Afganistan & Iraq & we were on pins & needles waiting for a safe return. Sen. Clinton had and has a good role model when it comes to telling the truth. What truth do you think will come out of the White House with both of them in there?

If Barack Obama's views may be linked to the tirades of the Reverend Jeremiah Wright then John McCain must certainly share the Reverend John C. Hagee's views that the U.S. must join Israel in a preemptive strike against the Arabs, the Russians and the Chinese in order to bring about the second coming of Christ.

After all, John McCain did solicit and proudly acknowledged the Reverend Hagee's endorsement in March 2008.

Barack Obama has acknowledged that the Reverend Wright did bring faith in God to his life, however Barack Obama never solicited the Rev. Wright's endorsement and he rejected the deplorable comments of the Rev. Wright.

If someone brings faith in God to your life, do you deny that person as Judas did Jesus or do you stand by the positive benefits that person has made on your life? You should no more deny the person who brought you faith in God then you should deny your parentage.

For too long small-minded politicians, lobbyists, the media and talk-show hosts have used fear, division and rancor as instruments to maintain power and position in Washington.

Barack Obama's means of governing through confidence, unity and reason threatens the Republican and Clinton fear mongers who are long accustomed with using fear, threats and ridicule as instruments to maintain power and position in Washington. Republicans want Hillary Clinton as the Democratic party nominee because the Clintons are comfortable with maintaining the status quo "divide and conquer" means of governance.

It's refreshingly nice to see the better angels of America's character prevailing as voters vote for Barack Obama and reject the racial, religious and ethnic slurs being spewed by the divisive fear mongers of the McCain and Clinton campaigns.

Don't you know, my friends, that the Obama debacle is a dog and pony show, designed to get an ultra-liberal in office to advance the world-wide socialist agenda, in concert with all the other such radicals that haunt the planet - Castro, Chavez, and their ilk. The ad rightly continues the long-standing association that Obama has with this convservativeAmerica-hating, left wing ideologue posing as some kind of "Christian." (I doubt seriously that there are any left in the UCC today.) I fully support the ad and have no concern whatsoever if it shows weakness in the compromising, mealy-mouthed McCain. Viva sates rights!

The ad correctly showcases the America-deriding Wright as a telling example of Obama's third-world, leftist radicalism. He can wear all the nice suits, use proper elocution, and spew all the populist fluff he wants; but his associations and background tell the real story - one that MUST be told.

The problem is that African-Americans have no interest whatsoever is seeing beyond his skincolor, and liberal whites are salivating at the idea of getting their PC, bleeding heart strokes; and the rest of his supporters are simply on his bandwagon.

It's all a shameless snowjob, the goal of which is to, at long last, create a "kinder, gentler" USSR in North America - a tax-burdened, entitlement-strewn, immigration loving, Big Government socialized nightmare. But they know full well that their only hope of getting their leftwing figurehead elected is to stealth behind his minority skirts, and hoodwick independents and borderline Republicans into buying his populist rhetoric. He's nothing but a dolled-up Trojan Horse of the far left. God delliver us from this advancing scourge.
