Once again we are asked to live in the past. It's time to move forward and give our children the future and we can not by renovating an old building. Lets give the children the education they need to move on . Lets us show them what they can do, like we did. We move forward. The young people of today is our future.

You mean they haven't started building yet? What is the hold up? That is the problem with the whole county especially Eden, they want to hold on to everything. They didn't have a problem tearing down Stoneville High School. If all you people love the schools so much you should go down there and volunteer and help them out. Holding on to all this history around these towns is making me sick. All this history is not helping these kids today become better students. We need more modern facilities for our kids to use so they can become engaged in learning like they need to be. Heck, kids at Douglass have to go outdoors in the cold so they can go to lunch. We can never grow like everybody wants us to trying to preserve something that don't mean anything to this kids today who are our future. We can spend money to build a new JAIL for crooks but not for schools. Backwards crap if you ask me, oh and some $$$ for a horse show complex, please give me a break.
