Despite anything you hear here, the media has not covered the overwhelming gratitude that the silent Majority has for your and the purpose you have served. Thank you is not enough! If I could shout it out from the tallest building: WELCOME HOME and THANK YOU for your service, caring and putting up with any negative information spoken by politicians or media personnel. This is not how most feel, it is just that “everyday” people do not have daily access to express everything. We are busy working and trying to support our families. YOU ARE SPECIAL! YOU ARE WINNERS! YOU ARE TRUE SERVANTS AND ROLE MODELS FOR OUR CHILDREN!

Thanks for serving! I am glad you guys are home and I only hope and pray it is only a little while until the rest of our guys are home, ALL OF THEM!

Sgt. Banks, welcome home. As a proud dad of Sergeant Philip Schulte, USMC we are proud of all of you. We heard many stories about Al-Asad, Iraq, the wind, the weather, the convoys, the danger. You have been through it all, and deserve our thanks. The Country owes all our Marines more than we are giving. Semper FI

As a vet I am proud of every American that serves, no matter which war. When you are 60 you will be able to stand up and be counted as an American hero. Your grandchildren will love you all the more for it.

The duty and service you have performed for your fellow citizens cannot be rewarded enough. I am so happy that you have returned home. What a grand day! Only through the sacrifice of warrior citizens such as yourself can our country remain free. I thank you.
