Should the state have eliminated the writing tests? Are children tested too much?

Me i am a 7th grader and i think it is a good idea that you stop the writing test for 4th graders and 7th but i also think you should stop it for every other grade that has to take it to. I really enjoyed the prompt and i think i scored what i was attending on scoring which was i level three. Well thanks
