Absolutely not! I am a senior & I am trying my best to live on my SS of $850/monthly.(make no mistake, I am NOT poor; I am Broke & there's a big difference!) I refuse to vote for any bond that allows NON property owners to vote for. People who do NOT pay property taxes don't give a hoot if property taxes go up & why should they? They get the perks of the bond $$ and we pay for it! That also goes for college students. After graduation they go on their merry way while we taxpayers go to the Poorhouse! Wake up y'all! If you don't I'm gonna clone Billy Yow and vote him in charge of Guilford county money! Have a good day & don't spend all your money in one place! :):)

Yes,
I am a pool supporter but was swayed by the WMA proposal. However, I believe each of these two factions have a great responability to go out and facilitate the private/public partnerships so heavily touted last night.
However, I would really like to see the WMA folks round up several million to reduce the 50. Patrons of "The Arts" are famous for their ability to do these types of things.
Conversely, I would like to see community leaders and various foundations, groups and individuals come together and augment the 12 million for the pool complex.
The 134 mill is just too big and has too many facets. 3-5 seperate pieces would have made me more comfortable. Still not sold on Greenway but the announcement of 4+ mill in private moneys makes me far more inclined to say yes. But not with the other 100+ attached,
Mick

NO! I still will not vote for any more bonds until what is on the books is utilized. How many Parks do we need . I live in the northwest and pass the Carolyn Allen Park frequently and have yet to see any thing like a game in fact I have never seen any activity. No More!
