John,

I can't imagine the city would "rejigger" Elm to eliminate this problem. If parking was truly an issue they would not allowed a private business to utilize public parking spaces for valet parking on Elm St. during peak hours Friday and Saturday night.

Yeah i love how now Valet Parking has taken over some of the public parking spaces on the weekend. I used to could drive hom from work and park my car in front of my apt building, but no more and then the other night I was threatened to be towed if I parked in a public spot. It's a public spot you know and the trucks aren't going anywhere, so what can you do????
