Pruitt was a very special Man. He was a man of God, loved by everyone that walked into his path. We where so excited that we where going to get to see him in August when he came home. But God had other plans and even though we don't know what those are yet, God will show us. Pruitt will be greatly missed by his family and friends. I know I will miss his smile and humor. I could tell so many story of where Pruitt had us rolling with laughter. Pruitt was a brother to me and now I know he is in a much better place. I love you Pruitt, we will miss you greatly.

We are all going to miss Pruitt. He was a very special person and he had a great compassion for others. He loved making those around him laugh. Pruitt was a strong and kind soldier. I am grateful that God gave me the chance to know him.

I learned a lot of useless information from pruitt but i still use it today.he always made me laugh and would always joke around with me.i would talk to him on AIM since i hadnt seen him in such a long time and i couldn't wait for him to get home so i could see him again and everybody could come hang out.I guess that wont happen again but i know that he is in such a better place than he was and he will be missed so much by everyone who was ever in his presence.I love you pruitt

When I heard of the attack on the news Sunday night - I prayed that Pruitt was alive. I don't understand it - but going to trust God. I know Pruitt is with Jesus as I write this. The Lord layed it upon my heart while I was asking why - that Pruitt took the "hit" for me. The man that is responsible for Pruitt's death hates me and my family and would take my life my life and any of my family in an instant - and because Pruitt was there - my family is safe today. I am truly sorry for the family. I know Linda is broken hearted - I want her to know how much I love her and how much we loved Pruitt. He was a gentle giant - "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." - Pruitt was a GREAT friend for laying down his life for us.... Will be praying for the family.

Pruitt was a very special person, who loved and worshiped God. He was always concerned for his fellow troops. Last year when our Sunday School class asked how we could help, he wanted things for his fellow soldiers. I can only imagine he died looking out for someone else. He will be greatly missed. Linda we are praying for you.

Pruitt was one of the most loving people I know. His love had no discrimation at all...he really loved ALL! I will miss him greatly - his mischevious grin, his big hugs, jokes, competitive spirit, and willingness to give it all for those he loved. I knew whenever I was with Pruitt that I was always taken care of no matter what. I love and miss Pruitt greatly! Thank you for serving our country and protecting me til the end of your life!

I did not know this young man, but I do know that I am grateful for him and his friends and family for their courage and love for this country. My deepest sympathy go out to the each of you in this time of sorrow. He made the ultimate sacrifice for me just like someone else did many years ago.

Pruitt was a fine young man. He represents the best in all of us. He represents the best our country has to offer. His life and service to God and his country will always be remembered. He will always stand as a true patriot, a true man of God. He will always remind us what compassion and love is all about. Thank you Pruitt!
Linda, I know your heart is broken. You were a beacon of light in his life. You stood in the gap to lead Pruitt to God. I pray with all my heart that you take some confort in knowing you were the stablizing force in his life. God used you in his life and He is using you in the life of others like Kathryn and myself. Thank you for this. May God bring you peace and comfort in this dark hour.

I met Pruitt in Italy prior to him going to Afghanistan. My son served with him and was his good friend. The three of us went to dinner that night. We will love him forever and keep his memory alive.

Pruitt was one of the good guys, that's for sure. I remember when Pruitt, Zack, Zane, Web and I all used to hang out at the bowling alley on Church St. Those were good times. You will be missed my friend. Here's to you.

Me and pruitt grew up together from middle school on. He was a great friend to me and we always had a good time hanging out. He had a talent for always making light of any situation. His arrival home was just around the corner, he had a lot of eager family and friends ready to see him and catch up on times. I know he is looking down on us right now. I KNOW that he is in a better place. Pruitt, just know that I miss you and your like a brother that cannot be replaced. We will see each other again on better terms, I promise!! I love you!

Pruitt was so special to everyone who met him. He was the "light of his Nana's eye". If you ever wanted to see Linda smile, just mention Pruitt or watch him walk into a room. And he loved his grandmother as much as she loved him. Although we know she is so very proud of him as we are, we also know that she will miss him so much. We are praying that God will give her a peace and that she will see God honored by Pruitt's sacrifice and maybe that will help her understand. Thank you, Pruitt - for giving your all to protect those of us back here at home. We will miss you and will never forget you and what you gave.

I did not know Pruitt but i am so THANKFUL for all he did for this country and for each and every one of us.
I pray for all of his family that GOD will give you
all peace in this time of your loss.
When I saw all the activity at the church wednesday,I knew it had to be for him.
Then I heard the gun shots for him and tears started to roll down my face.
I walk this cemetary every day today when i took my walk.
I stopped and just wanted Pruitt to know that I THANKED HIM for all he had done for his COUNTRY.
I want all of his family to know i will be praying for all of you.
And always remember GOD never closes one door without opening another.
Always be so PROUD of him.
GOD BLESS EACH AND EVER ONE OF YOU!
Ricky
