As long as the State has a lottery, we should not prohibit other forms of gambling. The best solution is to regulate and tax it. The Gambling Genie is out and Take-A-Trip Easley started us down the path, we might as well take the wheel.

This is all about the lottery. If the lottery is not gambling, please tell me what it is.

If an operator runs the old video poker machines under the state law that was in affect at that time, how can the state take that revenue source from both operators and location owners away.

There should have been a buy out such as with tobacco to reimburse operators and store owners for their loss of income.
The state decided that all operators and store owners were running illegal games.
That was very unfair to legitimate business owners.

If the lottery is legal then let the operators and locations run their own video games and give a percentage to the state....Simple solution and everyone benefits

The states answer will be "Thats Gambling"

And again I say "What is the lottery"?

please let the people on a fix income have the free pills. some of them are already cutting their pills in half to make their med's last longer. it's buy food , gas or their med's. we need to take care of our own people here in the united states. so many of the people don't have family member's to help them. let the dr's give the free pill's to all that need them. and why do they have to be taxed? they are free, again i say they are free. so what is the problem? i say no tax on free pills. frances holder
