Yes, I do mind. This is a "Farmer's Market". If I wanted to buy non local I would go to Harris Teeter. I understand that some people are angry, because it affects their self interest. I wholheartedly agree with the decision to have only vendors with locally produced items. I actually drove to the Carrboro market yesterday to get local organic food, and there was lots of it.
We need to accept the fact that not all food is available year round. Food is seasonal. Why not try to work with that, and introduce some variety into the diet?
