If the Warnersville neighborhood activists wanted to save Price school why didn't they buy it when it was for sale? Greensboro College paid a lot of money for that piece of property. Greensboro College build your park.

Why not name the stadium JC Price stadium with a plaque giving the history of the school and the neighborhood etc. out front. Duh!

It was very upsetting to see that one gentleman found the programs that GC provided to the Warnersville community "insulting"! My son was lucky enough to help with the football camp last year, and he couldn't stop talking about what a great group of kids, and how much fun he had. They even had pictures to show!! I can assure you
that my son was not intending to insult anyone in his
willingness to give his time for these great kids!
Until we are able to appreciate each other and the kind things that we can do for each other, these type of situations will not change. There is a way to work together in this situation, and we need to figure out what that is. Not label anothers service to the community "insulting". One more thing... the football held another camp this year, and knowone showed up. How sad.

Build a fence around the stadium and have entrances from Freeman Mill Road. That way the neighborhood would not be impacted by the activities. The neighborhood has not been concerned about this property for years. GTCC held classes there for decades and no one cared.

I support Greensboro College...At least they will be doing something with the property. Right now it makes the neighborhood look bad. We need something to make it look better. Everyone will still have their memory of JC Price...Now it's time to have something new on the property. I know it will be Beautiful!

To the Warnersville neighborhood activists .
If you want the property go to your mayor and city council. They will be more than happy to take it from the present owners and give it to you.

It never fails me to be amazed that one church group cries destruction. Without the United Methodist Church, Greensboro College and Bennett Colleges would all be Bob Jones Universities. My great great great great great uncle and grandfather walked into NC..to the now called Guildford County in 1777..They walked, they had no mule they had nothing but the Quaker faith..work hard, own no slaves and be a good person..way back in the 1800's the Methodist were't as numerous as the Quakers, till the westward migration, but still everyone got along..One had an inner light the other had method..Christine
