It really doesn't matter how well Mitch Johnson does his job. He has lost all credability and should have been fired long ago. Our city is badly divided and cannot heal with him as manager.

Mitch needs to go. He should have been gone a long time ago. He does not deserve the position of City Manager and he definitely does not deserve his high paid salary. We need to get rid of some of the city council members as well that cheer him on. They are a disgrace to this city as well. DITCH MITCH.

One can only thank their lucky stars they don't live in GBoro when it comes to this issue.
Surely the mayor has to realize that the political reality is such, the distraction too much, that to have a city mgr that doesn't have the support of nearly half the board is going to severely handicap city gov't, no matter who is right or wrong.
The city mgrs. retention has become a racial cause celebre' that will run the city into the ground.

Mr Johnson is just a drop in the bucket compared to our crooked Mayor and self-serving city council. Just look at our mayor's history of tax-liens, tax avoidance, diversion of assets, fraud, etc. Mr. Barber has an interesting history also of helping his buddy Arnold to hide/divert assets among other self-serving actions. It starts at the top.
