He can try anything but it will not work for me. McCain has been in Washington for so many years he needs to realize he is the problem. He helped Bush push through his ideas and policies that has gotten us into this mess. Not just the economy but everything that effects the country.I have had enough of Bush. McCain also made a mistake when he chose his empty headed barbie doll running mate. She seems to think that smiling and winking will win an election. Lets hope not.

Empty headed Barbie doll? Seems she has done wonders for Alaska. Low taxes! Now tell us what tax hike mike has done for NC? Maybe like steal 748 million dollars from the school fund. Like borrowing 680 million, with out taxpayers approval! Like raiding the highway trust fund, to balance budget. Mean time highways are falling apart. Give me a empty headed Barbie doll anytime. Paul, regardless what some reporter implied, Palin does not do pron films. Just proves he a empty head liberal.
i know she the right pick, she got the liberal media, lying out of both sides of their mouth at one time. Wonder why Killian does not write about Acorn registering illegals in NC, including a 14 year old?

Low taxes in Alaska? So she says but there are stores to the contrary. Who do you believe
no one. The media is not allowed report the truth anymore it is all hype seems like.
I judge on what I see with my own two eye and ears.
Fact has the republicans been in charge of everything house, senate and white house for the last 7 years. Answer yes. Changes like abortion welfare reform etc. NO How can McCain win change with a dem. house when he could not do it with his own party?
There is no good choice so throw everyone out and try a new team of leaders/thieves.
Remember during an election all candidates know all the problems and all the solutions. After the election they seem to
catch amnesia. Then it is politics as usual and Americans are so stupid we let them get by with it.

One thing to remember about "low taxes" in Alaska. Alaska gets a big check from big oil each year, which they use to pay for services and to deliver an $1800 check to each citizen of the state.

Where does that $1800 come from? Oil companies.

How do they reclaim that $1800 per person? Charging us higher gas prices.

Alaska is a welfare state, and you are its sugar daddy.

Interesting point about Alaska- So the question is if Obama raises taxes on Big Oil - who is going to pay for it? - We will at the pump just like we do when the oil companies pay more for the oil they import.

While we are on the topic of welfare it's interesting that Obama talks about 95% of Americans getting a tax-cut. It's not in the form of a lower tax rate, but credits that you would receive regardless of the taxes you pay. About 1/3 of American's don't pay federal taxes due to income levels and deductions- Under Obama's plan checks would be mailed out in the form of tax "credits" to people who paid no taxes to the federal government - That sounds alot like welfare to me.

Who would pay for these credits? Obama says companies like Big Oil - or in other words the middle class at the gas pump.

Can someone please tell me how a tax credit for the middle class will create jobs while at the same time it would be more expensive for companies to do business in the US?

How many jobs were created as a result of handing all middle class families a check for $1200?
