A recap from the end of the filing period. A number of offices are uncontested, meaning filing was tantamount to election:

Pricey Harrison: N.C. House District 57
Earl Jones: N.C. House District 60
John Blust: N.C. House District 62
Phil Berger: N.C. Senate District 26
Stan Bingham: N.C. Senate District 33
Mike Winstead:
Guilford commissioners District 7
J. Carlvena Foster: Guilford Board of Education District 1
Paul Daniels: Guilford Board of Education District 5
Kris Cooke: Guilford Board of Education District 7
Amos Quick: Guilford Board of Education District 9
Jeff Thigpen: Guilford Register of Deeds.
In District 18, incumbent judges Sherry Fowler Alloway, Susan E. Bray, Michelle Fletcher, Patrice A. Hinnant, William K. (Pete) Hunter, Joseph E. Turner and Teresa Vincent are unopposed.
