Obama and Wright
When Obama was in Winston-Salem Tuesday he came to talk about gas and ended up talking about a gasbag.

I don't know for sure, but you've got to think the N.C. Republican Party has to feel like the rooster that made the sun come up by rolling out this ad before this latest round of controversy started.
The eye of the presidential campaign storm moves out of state for at least two days, with Obama and Clinton heading to campaign in Indiana.
Update: A commenter on this post writes: "This is so transparent. Rev. Wright gets the spotlight he craves and Obama can distance himself from his Achilles Heel. Of course the pro-Obama prepaid media machine is praising this move as the best thing ever."
Leaving the "pro-Obama media machine" aside, the focus on the Rev. Wright was not the best thing ever. In fact, it was really frustrating.
Here we have one of the three people who could potentially be the next president in the state and we're having him talk about what someone else said. Rather than getting to hear his thoughts on the Supreme Court's latest voting rights ruling (voter ids are okay, the court said. Expect this to be a topic in NC soon) or immigration problems that are peculiar to North Carolina, we got treated to more of the freak show that is Rev. Wright.
Is Wright a legit campaign issue? Sure. But listening to Obama say 50 different ways that he deplored the reverend's comments wasn't a good use of anyone's time.

Obama had to deal with this once and for all since the Republicans in NC were getting alot of mileage out of this and eroding Obamas lead in NC. His trip back to Chicago last week to meet with his advisors helped lay out the plan to have Rev. Wright reiterate all the negative hateful things he has said already but in a public forum. This way Obama could have a staged public breakup with Rev. Wright. This is so transparent. Rev. Wright gets the spotlight he craves and Obama can distance himself from his Achilles Heel. Of course the pro-Obama prepaid media machine is praising this move as the best thing ever. I think we know what's going on.

Wright may not be the man Obama knew 20 yrs ago, we all change. Notwithstanding, no one can’t make me believe that Obama is only just now learning that one of his closest advisors during the past 20 yrs has the leanings he has. Seems to me Obama underestimated just how much one of his closest advisors wanted to make public his leanings.
Like the article mentioned, Obama himself, appears to have a time staying off the topic of religion and politics. He doesn’t seem to have trouble dancing around other topics he won’t go into. Hmmmm…
If Obama is so un-savvy as to not recognize this kind of political trouble, I’m not sure I want this in a leader for the US.

PELOSI, DEAN, REID, KENNEDY AND KERRY HAVE DESTROYED THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. WE HAVE 50 STATES — NOT 48. I REALIZE PELOSI WANTS TO BE THE FIRST FEMALE PRESIDENT BUT SHE SHOULD NOT DESTROY THE PARTY IN THE PROCESS!
OBAMA DIDN’T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH WRIGHT UNTIL HIS POLL NUMBERS DROPPED! Obama has had plenty of opportunities, during this race, AND during the past 20 years, to do what he did on April 29, but Rev. Wright had never put Obama down before. That made him willing to turn against the pastor, who — a few weeks ago Obama said that he could never turn from. Obama will say anything to get what he wants.
Because he has now disrespected Obama, Obama is now willing to confront Wright’s horrible remarks — one by one. HE SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS AT LEAST A YEAR AGO! TOO LITTLE — TOO LATE.
Obama listened to and approved of Wright for 20 years. It’s impossible to believe that he never heard Wright’s radical rants. Obama is not that stupid. This is the very philosophy of the church that he has attended for years. If he has that much “blindness” on something as important as foundational philosophical beliefs of his own church, why would he think he could deal with crafty foreign leaders and run our country?
If you listen to Michelle Obama, it certainly sounds like she has heard and believed the teachings against America, that have been preached by her pastor. Don’t forget Obama’s ties to Ayers, Rezko, Farrakhan, Malcolm X, the Black Panthers, and many other anti-Americans and terrorists.
May God help us to have the grace and love to do what s right for our country — no matter what our skin color. Race is a factor — we are all members of the Human Race!
Hopefully, by November, it will be Hillary or McCain!

This is scary. Obama is sponsoring bill S2433 in the US senate. If passed, Obama's bill will commit America to pay 845 Billion dollars to the UN in the next thirteen years for the UN Global Poverty Act. This money can only come from more taxes being levied on American citizens. Obama's S2433 Senate bill will consume 0.7 percent of the US gross nation product.The UN Global Poverty Act also commits signing nations to ban their citizens from possessing small firearms. Goodbye second amendment. It also put's parental right's under UN supervision. Barack Obama is a global Marxist who wants a one world government that will be UN ran. Are you ready to pay even more sky high taxes and give up your national sovereignty for Obama's change? Stop Obama's madness, call your senator and demand that Obama's bill S2433 be killed.
