Zogby paints us purple

Zogby has done a red/blue/purple map of the country based on its polling.

zogbyminimap.jpg

The map is available at the firm's website and is interactive. If you click on North Carolina, here's the data it spits out:

State: North Carolina Summary: Obama - 47% McCain - 38% Barr - 4% Nader - 1% Someone else - 4% Undecided - 6%

19% lead among Independents fuels Obama lead. McCain margin with Born Agains (+14%) not as great as in most other states.

Electoral Votes: 15, Too close to call

That "too close to call" line means we get coded purple.

Who is Barack Obama? This is a good question considering the fact that several Islamic nations are contributing vast amounts of money to elect him. On June 29th Maureen Dowd, a republican hating, left wing writer wrote a column in the ultra left wing New York Times titled "Obama's Troubling Internet Fund Raising" Obama's people won't reveal the contributors identities but Maureen Dowd has found out that these overseas contributors Internet service providers are based in Saudi Arabia, Iran and other Islamic nations. A bank in Saudi Arabia has been handling money transfers from Islamic nations straight to Obama's coffers. I am not saying Obama is a closet Muslim. I am saying Muslims recognize weakness when they see it and the weak kneed, flip flopping Obama is their choice because he is weak. Barack Hussein Obama is truly the second coming of Jimmy "Peanut Breath" Carter. The Jews of Israel are worried about Obama being elected and that he may betray them. With Obama's flip flopping, that fear could become a reality. I personally fear Obama becoming the commander of America's militaries. Obama has also vowed to double the capital gains tax, eliminate the reduction on the death inheritance tax that President Bush implemented and has signed on to no less than 182 new taxation schemes. Obama is sponsoring US Senate bill S2433. Obama's S2433 will cost American tax payers an additional 850 Billion in taxes. The money from Obama's S2433 is to be given to the UN, specifically for the "UN Global Poverty Act". The money will then be redistributed to third word dictators, most of them in Africa. Google (Obama's S2433) and decide if Obama's change is really what you want. I can't afford Obama's change, read the facts on the site and decide if you can.

I'm not going to take down this comment, but will offer this to folks who might read it: I believe most of Eli Jones wrote is factually incorrect, and that the Dowd column he sites is a hoax.

Factually incorrect? No question. But you can't deny that it's pretty funny!
