Gallup poll: Obama making up Hillary gap
The folks at Gallup have an analysis out of their latest polls in the presidential race up in video form. The most interesting upshot for me was that Sen. Barack Obama’s efforts to make nice with supporters of Sen. Hillary Clinton seem to have born some fruit during the convention. A big question: how much will Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s choice bring some of the remaining Clinton stalwarts into the camp of (the almost official) Republican Nominee John McCain.

Don't confuse the temporary, expected DNC convention/Obama bump in the polls with any Hillary supporters going for Obama. Common sense dictates,it will only short time before the polls swing back in favor of McCain and Palin. The Hillary supporters that I have talked to despise Barack Obama for the underhanded, unfair manner that Obama and the DNC treated Hillary. Governor Palin appeals to conservatives and women alike and many of those women were Hillary supporters. Single working mothers will be hurt most if Barack Obama is elected because of his vow to raise our taxes beyond the moon. I don't believe anyone will vote for Obama if they are aware that Obama has promised sky high taxes and that Obama has even said that Americans will have to get used to less. Obama is currently sponsoring US Senate bill S2433 which will raise taxes an "ADDITIONAL" 845 Billion and that tax money will be given to the corrupt United Nations, specifically for the UN Global Poverty Act. Your hard earned money will then be redistributed to third world dictators, mostly in Africa. Google "Obama's S2433" and inform yourself on this Obama global wealth redistribution scheme. Obama is all about higher taxes to finance his Marxist giveaway programs. Vote for McCain and Palin and keep your money at home.
