Joel Landau is a person to vote for!

Just wanted to let you know that I have a page on Democrats.org. I'm trying to get more Democracy Bond holders to support the party and its ongoing work in all 50 states. Your contribution would really help me reach my goal. http://www.democrats.org/page/outreach/view/bonds/davidcrawford2008 David crawford Has pick to run for US Congress in 2008! If You can Make a ONE-TIME donation to David crawford For Comgress Today it will help alot! Contributions can be mail to : David Crawford 5601 Roanne way 103 , Greensboro n.c. 27409 I BELIEVE the strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person’s dignity, freedom, ability and responsibility must be honored. I BELIEVE free enterprise and encouraging individual initiative have brought this nation opportunity, economic growth and prosperity. I BELIEVE government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn. I BELIEVE the proper role of government is to provide for the people only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations and that the best government is that which governs least. I BELIEVE the most effective, responsible and responsive government is government closest to the people. I BELIEVE Americans must retain the principles that have made us strong while developing new and innovative ideas to meet the challenges of changing times. I BELIEVE Americans value and should preserve our national strength and pride while working to extend peace, freedom and human rights throughout the world. MESSAGE: David crawford Has pick to run for Congress in 2008! Crawford had campaigned on a conservative platform, saying that he wanted to see taxes on businesses lowered And he wants to make government more accountable for how it spends money."As citizens, we can't find out where it's going," he said, "because we're not in a position to find out." Would that legally end the war? I don't see how. The President still commands the troops and he can not be told to bring them home, David Crawford has formally announced his candidacy for the United States Congress representing the 6th District of North Carolina. David Crawford believes that in order for there to be an honest discussion of issues that affect the voters of the 6th District, there must be a campaign involving, at the very least, members of both major political parties. It should never be assumed that all of the voters of any district hold beliefs consistent with just one political party. A goal of this campaign will be to stir thoughtful debate and encourage the citizens in the district to become involved in the electoral process. All points of view should have the opportunity to be heard at the voting booth. At a time when we are experiencing a renewal of patriotism, we must remember there is no act more patriotic than voting. By voting we ensure that our leaders are truly the representatives of the people. As well as displaying a flag, we must demonstrate our patriotism by exercising the greatest freedom of all: the right to vote and determine our own government. Then we should celebrate our democracy and fly the flag. The Crawford for Congress campaign is about giving the people of the 6th district a choice. There are fundamental differences between the Democratic and Republican parties in their philosophy of government. The Republican Party has taken the position that the private sector should operate free of governmental regulation. Democrats believe that there is a legitimate and proper role for government in protecting the rights of the people. In doing this, we are paving the way for an improved quality of life for ourselves and for future generations. This principle is at the core of Democratic values. This Democratic philosophy has often been characterized as "tax and spend" as a means to discredit Democrats and many governmental initiatives. However, this philosophy simply recognizes that there are functions in society that the private sector does not do well; it is those activities that should be undertaken by our government. Democrats seek to provide effective government that protects the interests of all people, including those who do not possess wealth or power. Crawford hopes to articulate the positive role government can have on our society during this campaign. In the coming months the Crawford for Congress campaign will take this message to the voters of North Carolinas 6th District in the hopes that the campaign will be able to generate a discussion that will show the differences between the candidates. Only then can the citizens of the 6th District make an informed decision as to whom they want as a representative in the United States Congress. You have a President that’s in deep shit. He got us into the war, and all the reasons he gave have been proven invalid, and the whole electorate was so pissed off that they got rid of anyone they could have, and then they ask, ‘What is the Democrats’ solution?’” There is only one way in which the United States will withdraw from Iraq, prior to the end of President Bush's term: Congress must vote to cut off funds? Would that legally end the war? I don't see how. The President still commands the troops and he can not be told to bring them home Sign-Up to volunteer for David Crawford's campaign for United States Congress help!
