What would you ask the candidates?
The students at A&T want to know. Given that 93 percent of us who live here on a full-time basis didn't care enough to vote in the primary, we're quite impressed that college students are showing civic engagement by putting on a forum for Greensboro City Council candidates on Nov. 1.
But they want some help: What questions would you ask of the candidates? Respond in the Comments section, and we'll pass them along to forum organizers.
Reminder: This forum is at 7 p.m. Nov. 1 at Harrison Auditorium, N.C. A&T campus, 1601 E. Market St. Information: Tyesha Washington, (202) 438-7445.

I have a question: Why have neither of my opponents expressed any original ideas as to what they plan to do for Greensboro? I've written thousands of words expressing countless ideas but apparently Kern and Johnson are happy with the status quo as they have yet to say anything more than talking points and the same old boring lines.

Putting my curmudgeon on...
I have a question of the forum organizers: Why does NCA&T consistently have the lowest voter turnout of all precincts in Greensboro? 8 people voted at A&T in the city primary.

I would ask Trudy Wade to resign as soon as she takes the oath.
