Is this supposed to be an official notification?

Notification of the public comment period and public meeting for the MTIP has been printed in area newspapers as well as with signs and on the Greensboro Department of Transportation website. Other modes of publicizing such as the Fast Forward blog enhance our outreach. We appreciate Eric and his readers' interest in local transportation issues and look for your input on the projects and issues.

Thanks Amy and Kevin. I wanted to know exactly where this was publicized besides just on the Fast Forward blog? I guess what I wanted to make sure was that this didn't constitute the only public notification.
The signs I've seen are pretty worthless unless you happen to be walking. I haven't found one yet that I could read while driving by. The newspaper and television spots work and I think it is great that you are expanding the ways you get the word out.
Thanks!
