Gorrell Street bridge closing

From the Greensboro Department of Transportation:

Beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, the city of Greensboro will close Gorrell Street between Plott Street and McAdoo Avenue.

This closure is necessary so that crews may perform maintenance work on the bridge over Murrow Boulevard. All work is expected be completed in two to three days.

Traffic will be detoured around the work area using Bennett Street to Lee Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and in the reverse direction. Detour signs will be provided.
