N.C. 68 south of Alcorn Road will be closed beginning from 5 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday.
The road is closed so N.C. Department of Transportation crews can perform emergency repairs on a culvert in this area.
Motorists should follow the signed detour route utilizing Alcorn Road and Peoples Drive to return to N.C. 68.
