Southbound 85 lanes closed Wednesday
Heads up, if you're coming into Greensboro Wednesday morning or afternoon on I-40/85 South: Crews will be repairing worn pavement most of the day on a three-mile stretch of the heavily traveled road.
So I-40/85 southbound will have the left 2 lanes closed just north of Rock Creek Dairy Road (Exit 135) to Mt. Hope Church Road (Exit 132). Closure in effect from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.

After going more than a month without an update, perhaps the "Fast Forward" blog should be renamed "Sitting Still".
