I think that using Bibles in public schools can be done, if used for a secular purpose, such as in courses of comparing religions, or studying ancient books for literary purposes.

A course using the Hebrew/Christian scriptures as a literature device would be acceptable. However, that would exclude the main text of other Religious groups. Thereby, the course would definitely have to be broader so as to not be showing favor to one specific Religious group/s.

Go to a private school if you want to study the bible. Or sunday school for that matter.
