Nancy, when you get back, I think it might be fun for the readers her to discuss Mark Twain's "The War Prayer." Seeing as how much interest that subject has these days...

Okay. What will be the first question you ask when you get to heaven? (not for Eric) Mine will be "What part of McLeansville was the Confederate treasure buried in?"

It'd be a little too late to be of any use to you at that point, wouldn't it, Steve?

Eric,
Did it ever occur to you I just might be pulling for you? A great mind is a terrible thing to waste. You would ask God for help if a car hit your wife, wouldn't you? Moth and rust does not corrupt my curiosity.

Steve... I was just having a little fun. Aren't you?

Here's a thought that might fit in this forum. Osama Bin Laden. I got to thinking about him the other day as news reports were coming out, guessing where he is. It struck me that he is similar to Charles Manson, in that Manson's attacks were aimed at starting a war between blacks and whites, while Bin Laden seems intent on starting a war between Christians and Muslims.
I wonder how far off he is from succeeding?

Everyone deserves a vacation.
She will be back with a rested mine and new ideas for discussion.
What a difference a cange of routine makes, if only for a short time.
