HIGH POINT -- Police are seeking a man in connection with a robbery Monday at Crestwood Presbyterian church.

According to police reports, a woman working at the church answered a knock on the door at 11:36 a.m. A man asked to use the telephone. He then grabbed the woman around the neck and demanded money.

She gave him cash from her purse. She did not require medical treatment.

Anyone with information can call High Point Crime Stoppers at 889-4000.

I guess I have this thing about people robbing/desecrating houses of worship.Ithinkthe people who work there are the most vulnerable because they generally have open doors and there's more of a trust factor going into a situation. As for me and my house...I wouldn't have opened the door, though I would have made a call through the door for him.
