SCARY!
If Christian fundamentalism continues to gain the strength and power in politics that has happened thus far, I will seriously consider renouncing my America citizenship and moving to Europe!
This type of Christianity is NOT the faith described in the Christian Scriptures! That message is one of love, acceptance, and forgiveness. It does not promote hatred and separation. The message of Jesus the Christ was one of reconilation and redemption. Christian fundamentalism does not promote these nor seek to be a part of them.
Christian fundamentalists generally do not want to work for compromise. Rather, they generally walk away from these situations and "succede" from other groups.
Shalom
