I have seen only one such debate, on tape. I expect that there are a lot of high school students who would find such an experience fascinating. Especially if the debates are established with a level "playing field," as the one debate I'm familiar with was.

Hi Nancy, et al
I have not been able to navigate to the site with the story from this blog (it comes through www.infidel.org). I will try to find another working link, as I am very interested in the insidious attempts to indoctrinate children with a Christian belief system here in Guilford County. I am no conspiracy theorist, but I have direct knowledge of an email campaign, for example, urging teachers to rally for the return of specifically Christian prayer (not just ecumenically ambiguous god-language) in the public classroom.

Correction: www.infidels.org

Nancy
I am still unable to track down that specific article. It seems when I google for it on infidels own site (the secular web or secweb.org your link routes to), there is no language which matches the quote you have given. Could you give the specific URL?
