Is this a statement against organized religion? If it was for thrills, wouldn't the thrill be gone by now?

I heard the authorities have a couple of suspects to search for, which means that we may knowsome answers soon. I think that it's a pretty awful thing to destroy other peoples' property, regardless of the reason. But if we find out what these guys are thinking, it could be very interesting...

Arsonist will burn for thrills as long as there is something to burn. They do become anesthetized by the act at a point and will often take a break and then return when the need for another shot of excitement is needed. There is also the factors of anger, revenge and sexual arousal to take into consideration when dealing with why arsonist burn. Guess we won't know the why in these burnings until the culprit is caught.

The fires could either be a statement regarding not so much "organized" religion as just a statement to the religious identity of the people in that area. It would seem to me that were it about "organized" religion that more than just Baptist churches would be targets.
